Delete Your Clipto Account
This page explains how to delete your Clipto – Notes & Transcribe account and associated data.
How to delete your account
Option 1: Delete in the app
- Open the Clipto app on your device
- Go to Settings → Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
Email us at support@clipto.com from your registered email address with the subject “Delete my account”. We will process your request and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days. You do not need to have the app installed.
What happens when you delete your account
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Your account information (email address)
- All recordings and audio files
- All transcripts and notes
- Usage data linked to your account
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please export any content you wish to keep before deleting your account.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through Google Play or the App Store before deleting your account.
