Common Issues & Solutions

1. File Format Issues

  • Unsupported Format

Ensure your file type is supported and that any shared links are publicly accessible.

Supported formats include:

▸ Audio: MP3, WAV, AAC, M4A, WMA, OGG, etc.

▸ Video: MP4, MOV, WMV, etc.

  • File Corruption

The file may be damaged or invalid. Please try re-encoding or uploading it again.

2. Audio Quality Issues

  • Excessive Background Noise

Strong ambient noise can significantly reduce speech recognition accuracy.

  • No Audible Speech

Files containing only music, silence, or non-speech audio cannot be transcribed.

3. File Size & Duration Limits

  • 7-day Free Trial

Supports files up to 6 hours in length with unlimited uploads.

  • Subscription Plan

Supports files up to 6 hours or 6GB per upload.

If your file exceeds these limits, please split it into smaller segments or compress the file.

  • Free Plan

File Limit: Up to 3 files per day.

Duration Limit: Each file must not exceed 30 minutes.

Should a file exceed the maximum duration or if the daily quota has been reached, our system will generate a corresponding notification.

4. Network & Server Issues

  • Unstable Connection

A common scenario is when the upload stalls at "Uploading" or displays a red "Error" icon. Hovering over the error may show "Network Error".

Solution:

Please check your internet connection and try again using a different network if possible.

If you have confirmed all the above and the issue persists, please contact our technical support team at: support@clipto.com
