Start your first transcription

Clipto supports various transcription methods to meet your different needs:

  • Recording to Text: Convert recordings to text instantly
  • YouTube Link Transcription: Directly paste video links without downloading
  • Local File Upload: Supports common audio and video formats (MP4, MOV, MP3, M4A ,etc)

Step 1: Access Transcription Feature

 

 1. Log in to your Clipto account  2. Navigate to "Features" in the AI tools
 3. Select "AI-Transcription" from the menu

 

Step 2: Select & Submit Media Content

Choose your preferred method:      Method 1: Recording to Text

  •   Click "Start Recording"

  •   Grant microphone permissions when prompted

   Method 2: Link Transcription

  •   "Paste Video URL"

  •    Click "Transcribe "

   Method 3: File Upload

  •   Click "Upload File"

  •   Select files from your device

Step 3: Configure Transcription Settings

 Adjust these options in the settings window:  

   1. Source Language: Select the primary language in your media

   2. Target Translation (Optional): Choose translation language or select "None"

   3. Speaker Identification:       - Enable for multiple speakers  

Step 4: Start & Retrieve Results

 

   1. Click "Start Transcription" after confirming settings

   2. Once completed, the transcribed text will appear directly in your "Transcription History", where you can view, edit, copy, translate, or download it.
